Hello and good morning everyone!
Happy Saturday! I can’t believe how fast this year is flying by! Its already July! It’s crazy how quickly time passes especially when you’re busy and having fun. I’ve discovered that in order for me to get to do everything I want to do, I will need to have at least another 12 hours in each day! I want more time for myself to sing, play my drums and guitar, paint, read and pamper/immerse myself with things I enjoy in longer intervals. How nice that would be! BUT for now, enough of my day dreams. Let me get back to where I’d left off last time…
I feel like I am blessed with a musical angel making me quite the Happy Girl. Last weekend I kicked it off with the first class of my next round of Cab Lab with Lennie and Steven. I got to say, going to that class every Saturday morning is something that I’ve come to look forward to at the end of each week. 🙂 However, last Saturday I’ve had to do quite a bit of running around. I was part of my cabaret mommy Bobbie Horowitz’s Summerfest Cabaret Matinee at Unity Center. It’s always such a pleasure to perform there with so many wonderful artists. Well, my Saturday was like Bobbie’s song “Scheduling in NY” hahaha! I ran from Cab Lab to the Unity Center, just to run back downtown to see my friend Karen Gross’s show at the Metropolitan Room. NOW that was a wonderful show! I give that show a thumbs up! I really enjoyed the story telling as well as the beautifully executed arrangements. A wonderfully, moving show!
Now what did everyone do for July 4th? I hope wherever you were, you had as much fun as I’ve had. I went to Carly Ozard’s “Up On the Roof- July 4th Shenanigans” party with my buddies Chris Tefft and Maria Moncada with karaoke system and my signature summer rolls and we had a wonderful time singing, catching up and enjoying ourselves. What a day that was!
So…I am finally all caught up with what I wanted to say about the past few days, I wanted to talk about what’s going on. I am a little overwhelmed by the work load of my new job as Supervisory Infrastructure Program Manager for the most rapidly growing function at the Fed. I am a PMO hahaha! My PMP certification is being utilized. 🙂 I am not really complaining as I feel so very excited and fortunate to be given such an amazing opportunity.
My plan for this sunny Saturday is to catch up on blogging which I am doing right now (checked), play my guitar and drums, sing, do things around the house until I go out to dinner tonight. I want to leave off at wishing you all a wonderful Saturday and another one of my remedies/beauty secrets:
One of my girlfriend suffers from bone spurs under her foot and I can only imagine what a painful ailment that would be. Well, being the nerdy woman I am, I consulted with my medical books and I’ve discovered a remedy that have been tried and tested in China for hundreds of years which is known to cure bone spurs without the need for the patient to go through surgery. All you need is a bottle of aged Chinese vinegar “山西老陈醋”. You need to apply it to the painful location where the bone spur is at and rub it hard until the area heats up (the hotter the better), then you take an object with a flat surface with significant weight (It can be the bottom of a bottle) and slowly but with significant fore, tap against the bone spur. Do that a few times a day and the bone spur should be gone before you are done with the bottle of vinegar.
Feel free to share this with all your friends with this problem. It’s a LOT better than having to undergo a surgical procedure to remove the bone spur and well worth a try!
Until next time! Peace and happiness on this Saturday!
xoxo
