Hi everyone,
It’s been a while since I’ve written and I attributed it to the fact that there are simply not enough hours in a day for me to do everything I want and need to do. I guess this happens as we get older… time has a way of slipping by unnoticed. Lately, my schedule had developed a life of its own! Work, my cabaret career, my budding videography hobby, my friends along with all the shows I’ve seen, I need to schedule some “Natasha time” ASAP!
Being busy is good and bad. It’s good because you feel productive and the sense of accomplishment in some way but it is bad when you find yourself getting into the robotic mode at times when you discover that you are missing important details… I am saying that because I’ve done almost just THAT today. I came into the office, worked on my coding, grabbed a quick bite, thinking about how I am planning to videotape the last Steven Ray Watkin’s wonderful show tonight at the back of my head when it suddenly occurred to me that this date looked familiar to me… OH… it’s my mom’s birthday…
It’s hard to forget such a day, especially with it being so close to Mother’s Day a few days ago. Yes, she had been gone for over a decade but if you had ever spoken to another who had lost their mom or if you’ve had the misfortune of losing your own, you will understand when I say that it’s something that you never get over. You just learn to cope with the loss on a day to day basis. I have been lazy with my posts lately but this is a day that warrants a tribute.
On this day, I wish to pay tribute to all the mom’s out there! Every day should be your day! HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY! Don’t ever forget that YOU are LOVED by your children even if they may not have told you so today!
Until next time my friends~ Sending you all light and love!
