Hi everyone!
So here we are again, starting another week. It’s Monday! I know that a lot of people find Monday to be the worst day of the week since it IS after all, the beginning of a work. I, however, don’t really think it’s so bad after all even though from time to time I joke about it otherwise. I think every day can be a FUN day! It’s all about how you approach the day. One of the pieces of wisdom that I’ve picked up from experience is that how you feel about something can change with the moment and the way you look at it. It’s like flipping a switch! One moment Monday is “oh no, the beginning of so many more work days… and hours” but if you look at it like “wow! I wonder what adventures I have in store for me this Monday!” You see how that changes everything? I hate to sound like one of those motivational preachers hahaha but I was just thinking about this at the moment and thought it would be something nice to talk about.
The truth is, given all my near encounters to death and encounters with death, I see every day as kind of a blessing. Of course I don’t expect to croak anytime soon but it is important to live and enjoy life for everything it is. Even bad experiences to me are invaluable as they are part of being alive! A lot of us have gone through traumatic experiences like losing a loved one or suffered a broken heart. At moments, I don’t dispute it that it hurts tremendously and that pain can be overwhelming. BUT does it kill you? No. I’ve never seen anyone literally die from a broken heart. What it does is that it builds character IMHO. Think about it and tell me what you think. Before I end this post, once again, I am going to offer some health/beauty tips for your pleasure!
Everyone likes having beautiful skin but the type of food that people eat on a daily basis a lot of times is not very conducive to having beautiful skin. Eating the meats of genetically altered animals shot up with hormones, seafood from polluted waters, vegetables and fruits with tons of pesticides just to mention a few culprits. I recommend a very simple and tasty drink every morning to start your day. A glass of luke warm lemon water mixed with honey (now don’t be stingy on the lemon). It not only detoxes but is great for dieting. Try it out!!
